Lorenzo Mendoza Fleury Library

Founded in 1968, IESA's library offers its services to any person and organization interested in studying administration, business, finance, economy, statistics, public policies, organizational behavior, human resources, management policies, production, postgraduate level operations and IT research.

It has publications from the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank and the International Monetary Fund. There is also access to UN publications. This is the most complete information collection in Venezuela and one of the best of Latin America in its specialty.

The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) contains bibliographical records of all the books, documents, periodic publications and collection of audiovisual media.

  • Search / Home: The search can be simple or advanced, by title, author, language, format or key words, among other options.
  • Find It Fast:only brings forth references and tables of content.
  • Digital Library: you will find full texts of available publications.
  • Knowledge Portal: contains the ConSígueme search engine and permits access to all the library´s digital resources, as well as the possibility of searching in other libraries.
  • I need Material: This option allows you to request additional material online, recommend purchases, request material from other libraries, among other options.



Internal users: Includes the directors, academic and administrative staff of IESA, postgraduate students, students of the advanced business program (PAG in Spanish) and courses and programs from Executive Education.   

External users: Must be affiliated as per the following categories:

  • University professors: Passport size photograph, ID or record attesting the current teacher status. Membership available: Annual / Quarterly
  • Professionals: Passport size photograph, degree copy or graduate ID. Membership available: Annual / Quarterly
  • Graduate students: Passport size photograph, ID or current college record (letterhead and stamp of the institution) to support it as a graduate student (specialization, masters or doctorate). Membership available: Annual / Quarterly
  • Undergraduate thesis students: Passport size photograph, letter from the university that certifies as undergraduate thesis student or university level technician degree: Membership available: Quarterly
  • Graduates from Executive Education: Passport size photo, photocopy of certificate. Membership available: Annual / Quarterly
  • MBA, Specialization and PAG Graduates: Passport size photograph: Annual (current ASEMASTER members exempt)
  • Daily Consultations (Monday to Saturday): ID and college thesis student, professional or college professor certification. Membership available: daily fee

Registration Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 pm

The Lorenzo Mendoza Fleury Library offers Information Services in Administration and Management for Organizations (ConSigo for its acronyms in Spanish).  By means of this service, companies can access updated and specialized information on the topics of interest to their organization.  This service is backed by IESA's library with over 45 years experience in the consolidation of the most complete collections of books, magazines, journals and electronic resources on management, business, marketing, public policies and connected areas. 


Graduates Premium Plan

Graduates Premium Plan offers:

  • Submission of articles (up to 30 articles a year)
  • Borrowing of 3 books for eight (8) days
  • Submission of electronic information databases
  • Newsletters (Article of the month, recommended books with their summary, weekly alerts with index of new journals)
  • Gift of a book by Ediciones IESA per year and 25% discount on the purchase of their publications

  1. Response to specific consultations: recovery of information requested by the user, contained in available sources in the library. The cost for this service is negotiable. 
  2. Bibliographical research: consists in the comprehensive search of bibliographical material on a specific topic, conducted by experts in sources and information media. The affiliate has available to him all the information obtained from our library on the topic of his interest. The cost for these services is negotiable.
